The design is made up of three layers, in the following order:
We prefer to use gloss vinyl as matt vinyl scratches and shows marks easily. However, some customers prefer matt even though it tends to be more expensive per running meter. The advantages of matt vinyl are that it has no glare and you are able to write with chalk on most of the darker vinyl. If you want the chalkboard look and feel, the matt black vinyl is perfect.
If your vinyl is meant to be outdoors for more than six months at a time, such as on exterior walls, car windows, boats, mailboxes and signs, we highly recommend that you use a 3 to 5 year outdoor vinyl. Other vinyls are thinner and will quickly crack and fade in extreme temperatures.
White exterior vinyl looks best on car windows because it is seen best from a distance. Silver, gold and light grey follow right behind, for a little more subtle colour.
Bear in mind that outdoor vinyls are more expensive.
